3D Raceday Companion, Powered by AWS

Problem Statement

Formula 1’s lower subscription tier delivers only a 2D race map: a functional but uninspired view of the action. Fans can track positions but lose the visceral, high-speed energy that defines the sport.

The challenge is to bring life and emotion to this limited view, leveraging the onboard AWS data into an immersive experience.

3D Interactive Companion

We reimagined the 2D race map as a 3D interactive experience built in Unity and powered by real-time AWS data.

The result was a visually rich, live-rendered race view that brought motion, depth, and excitement to lower-tier Formula 1 users.
